Incredibly powerful ending. Loved it. Am a complete zakarhova fan. She's chilling as odile. But love her arms #bolshoi

#Bolshoi My main gripe with Grigorovich's Swan Lake is that there is just *too* much dancing. Still, it looks sumptuous.

Jury is out on the #Bolshoi and a rather lack lustre performance. Lots of misses, a fall and general malaise. Corps as always were superb

#Bolshoi Swan Lake @RoyalOperaHouse this evening: very beautiful, very, very precise. Those swans can count. — Sarah Rigby (@Sarah_E_Rigby) July 29, 2013
Zakharova gave a truly spectacular performance. Lentratov also made best use of extended Rothbart's role. #bolshoi

I suspect I'm in the minority here, but this is the least exciting Swan Lake I've ever seen #Bolshoi

#Bolshoi was interesting. The scenery wasn't what I expected. And @balletboy09 was not Von Rothbart, which made me sad.

Generally high quality dancing on stage 2nite: Zakharova a fragile Odette w w exquisite arms. Lantratov a super Sorcerer. #bolshoi

Saw the Bolshoi's Prima Ballerina Svetlana Zakharova in Swan Lake. Breathtaking, unforgettable & passionate @royaloperahouse #Bolshoi #art — Sophia Matveeva (@SophiaMatveeva) July 29, 2013
Wish the Bolshoi had opened in London with ANYTHING other than Grig's vandalised Swan Lake. Some fine dancing treats to be seen though

1st #Bolshoi Swan Lake last night - Zakharova's arms worth watching alone but missed the emotional intensity we are so spoilt by with the RB

Have you seen the Bolshoi perform? What makes the company’s style so unique?
The Bolshoi Ballet perform Swan Lake, La Bayadère, The Sleeping Beauty, Jewels and The Flames of Paris until 17 August. Tickets are still available for some productions but there are no day tickets for Bolshoi performances.
